The son of Bernice Robinson & Eddie Hinson and grandson of Jessie Lou Caldwell & Bray Robinson, passed away on 16 Aug 2018. John was the great-grandson of James Caldwell Jr. & Lillie Bell Wilson, 2X great-grandson of James Caldwell Sr. & Louisa Patterson, and the 3X great-grandson of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman.
Rev. Robert Means and Johnnie Mae Means below are descendants of James Caldwell Sr.’s sister Josephine Perryman.
Rev. Robert Means
passed in Aug 2018. He was the son of George Means & Luvenia Mickle. His cousin Johnnie Mae Means below, passed three years later.
Johnnie Mae Means
Passed on 8 Sept 2021 at 85. She was the daughter of Oscar Means & Autherine Moss, Rev. Means & Johnnie Mae were the grandchildren of Josephine Perryman & Dillard Means, and the great-grandchildren of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman.
Elsie Mae Perryman
At 85, went home to be with the Lord and her ancestors on 28 Aug 2018. Elsie was the last granddaughter of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman to pass away. She was the daughter of Nathan Perryman Sr. & Annie Peterson. Also, Elsie was James Caldwell Sr.’s niece and his grandchildren’s (below) 1st cousin 1X removed.

Son of Catherine Bandy & Roger Dillard, grandson of Nellie Perryman & Lewis Bandy, passed away on 11 Apr 2019. Harry was the great-grandson of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman. Nellie Perryman was the younger sister of James Caldwell Sr.

The daughter of Mary Rosabelle Caldwell & Edd Washington, passed on 27 May 2019. Mazie was the niece of Dan and Cornelius above. She was the granddaughter of Cornelius Moore & Alex Caldwell Sr. and Starling Perryman (b. 1899), the great-granddaughter of Nathan Perryman Sr. & Ella Brooks Brown, and the 2X great-granddaughter of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman (b. 1840).

Passed on 14 Jan 2020. James was 2nd cousin to Mary Alice and Leonard Caldwell above. He was the son of Edna Caldwell & Mose Smith, grandson of James Caldwell Jr. & Lillie Bell Wilson, great-grandson of James Caldwell Sr. & Louisa Patterson, and the 2X great-grandson of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman.
Ella Perryman
Passed on 21 Jan 2020 after a short illness. Her brother Hugh passed three months later.

Ella’s brother, passed on 11 Apr 2020. Ella and Hugh Jr. were the children of Hugh Perryman Sr. & Treacie Ervin, the grandchildren of Nathan Perryman Sr. & Ella Brooks Brown, and the great-grandchildren of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman.

went to be with the Lord on 18 Apr 2020. He was the son of Ida Mae Perryman & Andrew Genoa Bolling, the grandson of Prichard Perryman & Cora Hardy Moore, and the great-grandson of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman.

lost her battle on 22 Mar 1921. Maggie’s adoptive parents were Buster Smith & Maggie Wilson, and her biological parents were Roberta Perryman & Willie James Robinson. Annie and Maggie’s grandparents were Nathan Perryman Sr. & Ella Brooks Brown, and their great-grandparents were Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman.

Darryl and Mahogany were close cousins to Gloria Wright and her grandsons on the preceding page.

Passed on 12 Dec 2020. Jacob was the son of Arthur Caldwell & Nancy Seawright, the grandson of James Caldwell Sr. & Louisa Patterson, and the great-grandson of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman. Jacob's daughter, Nancy (below), passed over two years later.

Passed on 23 Mar 2023. Nancy was the daughter of Henry Jacob Caldwell Sr. & Emelda Kennedy. She was the granddaughter of Arthur Caldwell & Nancy Seawright, the great-granddaughter of James Caldwell Sr. & Louisa Patterson, and the 2X great-granddaughter of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman.

Passed on 18 Dec 2020 at the age of 93. Arthur was the son of Starling Perryman (born 1899) & Lilly Rudolph Reed, the grandson of Nathan Perryman Sr. & Ella Brooks Brown, and the great-grandson of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman (born 1840).
Joseph Howard Caldwell Sr.
Passed on 23 Dec 2020 at 92. Joseph was the son of Joseph Caldwell & Rosa Lee Hicks, the grandson of James Caldwell Sr. (Arthur Perryman’s uncle) & Louisa Patterson, and the great-grandson of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman.
Arthur and Joseph were 2nd cousins.

Passed away on 22 Feb 2021.

Jeanette’s sister, went home to be with the Lord two years later, on 8 Jun 2023. They were the daughters of Josephine Bandy & William McCall Sr., granddaughters of Nellie Perryman & Lewis Bandy, and great-granddaughters of Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman.

Preceded his mother in death by nearly two months. Rodney passed on 16 Apr 2023. He was the son of Dora McCall & Jimmy Hayes, the grandson of Josephine Bandy & William McCall Sr., the great-grandson of Nellie Perryman & Lewis Bandy, and the 2X great-grandson Ida Caldwell & Starling Perryman.
